Head to the Cave de Courten to discover SUM SICCUS, a Latin name meaning ‘I'M THIRSTY’, which is singer Denis Alber's odyssey into the world of wine.. Echoing the Swiss sunshine, he delivers 19th-century poems set to music, from Charles Baudelaire to Paul Verlaine, Victor Hugo and Théodore de Banville, among others.
For this harvest, the two musicians are joined on stage by Marie Linder, a magnificent wine specialist, who will thrill your taste buds by poetically and delicately describing the range of flavours of the vine and wine.
But enough talk, isn't it intoxication we're here for? Find out more by discovering SUM SICCUS, a close-knit trio that elevates wine to an art form.
On the sidelines of Jean-Marc Linder's Abstraction exhibition.
* From 5pm: open visit in the presence of the artist / 7pm: Sum Siccus show
