To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the St-Etienne association is organising a weekend of festivities under the hill of the castles (Agorespace) in Granges.
From 5pm onwards, the evening of Friday 29 August will be dedicated to the village party, with a show and arts and crafts for the children, entertainment by the Diamstreet jugglers, and a dance with DJ Davide Montañez for a BOOM! party (80s to 2000s).
On Saturday 30 August, starting at 10 a.m., it's time for Medieval Day, with its period craftspeople, barnyard animals, medieval entertainment: archery, storytelling, medieval music and food, and to top it all off, a juggling and fire-eating show.
Sunday 31 August kicks off at around 10am with the official ceremony, followed by a welcome drink. At midday, there will be a fund-raising lunch (registration required). The Stéphania brass band and students from Circ'A'Sierre will provide the entertainment. The festivities continue with Rocco de Ieso for an afternoon of dancing until around 6pm.
