ARTS - Caves de Courten was born in the heart of the Caves de Courten, a cultural landmark in Sierre, and is rooted in a space steeped in history, conducive to artistic impetus and the flourishing of contemporary creation. A unique space, it is dedicated to music, visual arts, theatre, literature, mediation, conferences and all forms of contemporary artistic expression. Both intimate and open, it offers an inspiring setting for unexpected cross-fertilisation between disciplines, audiences and sensibilities.

ARTS - Caves de Courten aims to be a living home, a place of impetus and sharing: a melting pot where works are born, ideas are exchanged, and links are forged between artists, territories and generations.

Its ambition is to bring together the strength of our heritage with the energy of contemporary creation, in a spirit of openness, transmission and outreach.

It is in this alchemy, where memory and invention come together, that a new cultural dynamic emerges, rooted in Sierre and open to the Valais - and beyond.Programme for the inaugural evening:

* 6.00 pm - Opening of the exhibition: The Colours of Time: Nes Lerpa (Denmark) - oil paintings, watercolours, ceramics.

After the opening, and before the second concert, a cocktail will be offered in the cellars - a convivial interlude to extend the exchanges and savour the moment.

* 7.00 pm - Jazz concert: TRIO HAPPY HOUR
