From 10 to 30 November, come and discover an extraordinary family tree on the Town Hall square (in front of the CMS) tracing the lineages of the Val d'Hérens back to their common ancestor more than 230,000 years ago.
The result of several years of research in the archives and 173 Y-DNA tests, this genetic fresco reveals, among other things, a Walser migration to Valais that is much older than previously thought. Interactive and richly documented, the tree allows everyone to explore the living history of Alpine families.
